What Weekends Were Meant For!

My weekend was beautiful!
It was filled with restorative moments of quality time with everything I love.  I indulged all weekend long starting with an early morning visit to Bloor West Village to visit a beautiful friend in her new, classically beautiful, century-style home, a stop off at Sweet Gallery for a sinfully indulgent box of honey drenched baklava along with an apple & raisin studded strudel – simply to die for, an evening out at the movies {Horrible Bosses, have you seen it yet?} followed with a post late night indulgence of crêpes & strawberries with tiramisu ice cream {I have no words!}, a fabulous Sunday morning brunch {details below} and simply wonderful moments of weekend repose & musings while cooking {my favorite thing to do!} and preparing for a new week ahead!  This is what weekends were meant for!  I hope your weekend was amazing too!
P.S. I will be getting on the elliptical first thing tomorrow morning 😉
Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill

This is the first time I’ve been to this restaurant for brunch & it was wonderful!  The Oliver & Bonacini restaurant portfolio includes Canoe, Auberge du Pommier, Jump, Biff’s Bistro, Luma, O&B Canteen, and the upscale casual Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill. I’ve had the pleasure to go to almost all of these restaurants & they are exquisitely delightful & a gourmand’s dream come true where you can truly indulge in epicurean delights!  Canoe, Auberge du Pommier {French cuisine} and the Café Grill are by far my favorites 😉
Beautiful company & a beautiful meal is the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning!
