Table For Two: Weeknight Pasta Bolognese

Typically, a great bolognese will simmer for hours until it reaches just the perfect consistency and the flavours marry beautifully together, but this weeknight pasta bolognese recipe is so unbelievably decadent that you would never know it took much less time to put together {love that!}. In my opinion, ground sirloin lends an extra depth of richness to this dish and is much better than just your regular ground beef {it’s also a bit more expensive, but worth it!} and the touch of nutmeg and splash of silky cream, really gives this dish an elegant flavour experience {lucky for me, I have an extra batch of it in my freezer for another perfect weeknight meal}. There’s something so comforting about a rich and luxurious bolognese dressed over pasta and adorned by freshly grated Parmiggiano-Reggiano and of course, paired with a great glass of vintage wine.
Now that’s my definition of a perfect weeknight meal!
